Amy Smart was an American model as well as actress. She was born in California USA, Amy Smart began her modelling career there. Her acting debut came in the year 1996 with The TV production Her Costly Affair. The actress struggled for a small role for her in Starship Troopers. This was not easy for Amy since she needed change from modeling to performing. Models aren't considered great actors and so tend to play smaller, less important roles. Amy had a determination to be successful and was eventually offered larger roles starting at The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. She then ventured into the main roles for the 2005 romantic comedy film Just Friends which also starred Ryan Reynolds. Amy gained recognition after more than 10 years working. Amy went on to star in major films such as the Crank Series with Jason Statham, and Shameless.
