Amy Smart, an American model, actress and actor. Growing up and being raised in California USA she started her modeling career in Italy. Her first role as an actor was in 1996's TV production Her Costly Affair. It was a struggle to land an appearance in Starship Troopers. In the beginning, it was difficult for her to switch from modelling to acting. The reason is that most models aren't good actors. In the majority of cases, they're assigned small and insignificant roles. Amy had a determination to be successful and she eventually landed larger roles beginning at The 70s, the movie Varsity Blues. Amy later stepped into lead parts in 2005's romantic comedy Just Friends starring Ryan Reynolds. Amy got her first recognition for her efforts in the last 10 years. Amy went on to star in major film projects like the Crank Series with Jason Statham, and Shameless.
